PortalTable is priced per studio, not per seat. Invite as many client users as you like — they're always free. You pay for workspaces and capabilities, never for the people who log in.
The plans
One price per tier. Paid plans are billed monthly; Free stays free with no card. Clients are always free — you're billed for workspaces and features, never for the people you invite.
Free
1 workspace, unlimited clients, projects, approvals and updates. Carries the PortalTable badge.
Starter · $49/mo
3 workspaces, your own subdomain, badge removed, invoices. Email invites from your name and file uploads are being built.
Studio · $129/mo
5 workspaces (add more at $15/mo), team seats and roles, priority support. Custom domain, white-label email and audit logs are being built.
Clients are always free
No plan charges per client user. A workspace with 2 client contacts and one with 200 cost the same. You're billed for workspaces and features — the seat math agencies dread doesn't exist here.
What's still being built
File uploads, email invites from your name, custom domains, white-label email and audit logs are on the plans above but not shipped yet. They're all in active development and arrive at no extra cost on the plan that lists them.
Team seats
Seats are for your team — the people who use the console. Free is a single seat, Starter includes 5 and Studio 20. The Team page shows your usage. Client contacts never count against seats.
Upgrading and the badge
Upgrade any time from Settings → Billing. Moving to Starter or Studio raises your workspace limit and lets you remove the Made with PortalTable badge under Portal branding. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period so nothing breaks mid-cycle; if you end up over the limit, the newest workspaces lock rather than being deleted, and unlock again the moment you're back within it.

Remove the badge
Under Portal branding, toggle the PortalTable badge off — now available on your plan.
Workspaces, not clients or portals. A workspace holds all your clients, projects and invoices, and each client in it gets their own portal at no extra cost. Most studios need exactly one; a second is useful when you want a genuinely separate book of work — a sub-brand, or a partner you don't want sharing your client list.
Invoicing is included from Starter up. You put your own payment link on the invoice, so your processor's standard fees apply and PortalTable doesn't take a cut — we never touch the money.
Any time. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current period so live portals keep their features until then.
