Launch a beautiful client portal
for your studio.
Give clients a branded dashboard to review projects, approve work, upload files, and pay invoices — one place, under your brand, instead of scattered threads.
Replaces the scattered stack.
Email threads, spreadsheets, shared folders, 'just check the doc' — PortalTable gives your clients one branded place instead.
Your clients don't belong in email threads.
Spreadsheets and shared folders are fine internally. They're the wrong front door for the people paying your invoices.
Clients lost in the scatter
Project status in a spreadsheet, files in a shared drive, decisions in a Google Doc. Clients never know where to look — so they ask you.
Slow client communication
Approvals, feedback, and files scatter across email threads and Slack. Nothing has one home, and things slip.
Portal software gets expensive
Most tools charge per seat or per app. Add a few clients and the bill — and the per-client math — stops making sense.
Built for client-facing work.
Everything an agency needs to put a client in front of their project — and nothing that exposes how the sausage is made.
Branded client portals
Your logo, your colors, your domain. Clients log in to software that looks built by your studio — never a hint of PortalTable anywhere.
One source of truth
Clients, projects, approvals, files, and invoices live in one workspace. Update a project and every client sees it instantly — no exports, no copies.
Workflow actions
Approvals, comments, file uploads, invoices, and status updates all happen in the portal. It does real work, not just display.
Fast by design
Portals stay quick and reliable as your client list grows — no per-record limits, no rate caps, no waiting on a sync to catch up.
Live in an afternoon, not a sprint.
No rebuild, no scattered tools, no developer. Add your clients and projects and ship a branded portal the same day.
Add your clients and projects
Create them in minutes or import from a spreadsheet. Everything lives in one workspace from day one — no exports, no copies to keep in sync.
Brand it as your own
Add your logo, colors, and your own subdomain. The portal looks built by your studio — on paid plans clients never see a PortalTable mark.
Invite your clients
Send a magic link. Clients log in to a fast, branded portal to review work, approve, upload, and pay — free forever, no account juggling.
What your clients actually use.
A live look at the client-facing portal — branded, fast, and wired straight to your studio's workspace.
Every project, in one branded place.
Clients see exactly where their work stands — status, owner, what's next — straight from the board your team already works on.
- Status, progress and owners, straight from your board
- Per-client scoping — they only ever see their own work
- Post an update and it lands in their portal feed
Approvals that don't live in your inbox.
Send deliverables for sign-off and capture clear, timestamped decisions. No more 'per my last email' — every approval is logged against the record.
- One-click approve or request changes
- Change requests come back with the client's note attached
- Decisions and timestamps logged on every project
Invoices paid, work signed off.
Clients see what they owe and pay through your own payment link — you keep the processor, the rates and the relationship. File sharing and messaging are landing next.
- Outstanding and paid-to-date, scoped to each client
- Pay button opens your processor — we never touch the money
- File sharing and messaging are on the way
A portal that earns its keep.
PortalTable isn't a cost — it's how the smallest studios start looking, and charging, like the big ones.
Look like a bigger studio
A polished, branded portal signals you operate at a higher tier — before the first call even ends.
Justify premium retainers
When clients can see the work landing every week, the value of your retainer is obvious. Easier renewals, easier raises.
Win back status-update hours
Stop re-explaining where things stand over email and Slack. Clients self-serve the answer — you bill the time instead.
Built for whoever runs client work.
If clients or stakeholders need a window into the work your studio manages, PortalTable is the front door.
One branded home per client
Give every retainer client a portal with your name on it — projects, approvals, files, and invoices in one place.
- White-label per client
- Team seats & roles
- Approvals logged on every project
Punch above your weight
Look like a full agency on day one. Spin up a polished portal for each engagement without hiring a developer.
- Live in an afternoon
- Your own subdomain
- Free forever for clients
Serve stakeholders, not spreadsheets
Turn the tracker ops already maintains into a clean, scoped view for other teams and partners — no raw spreadsheet access.
- Per-stakeholder scoping
- Read-only by default
- Decisions logged with a timestamp
Made for client delivery, not app-building.
Other tools let you build apps. PortalTable gives your clients a finished experience with your name on it.
Reflects general product positioning as of 2026. Capabilities evolve — verify current details with each vendor.
Priced per studio, not per seat.
Add as many clients as you like — they're always free. No confusing seat pricing, no surprise overages.
Clients are always free — you're billed for workspaces and features, never for the people you invite.
I built PortalTable after watching freelancer and studio friends run great client work through email threads, spreadsheets, and shared folders — then send clients digging for a link. The work was great. The way clients saw it wasn't.
So the goal is simple: give your clients a front door your studio is proud of — one that looks like youbuilt it. We're onboarding founding studios in small batches so we can set each one up properly, and I set up your first portal with you myself.
Built for client data.
Your clients trust you with their business. PortalTable gives you the controls to be worthy of it.
One client, one portal
Every request re-checks the client's access grant, and every read is scoped to that one client in the query itself — never filtered in the browser after the fact. Their portal only ever asks for their own records.
No public database
Your data isn't exposed to the browser at all. Every table is locked to the server, so there's no shared base link to leak and nothing for a client to poke at.
You choose what clients see
Files, tasks and projects are private until you share them, and each client is either read-only or able to approve. Revoke access and the portal closes immediately.
Sign-in without passwords
Clients get a magic link tied to the address you invited — no account to create, no password to reuse. You sign in with Google or a password of your own.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Every portal is served over HTTPS only. Data at rest is encrypted by Supabase, our database host, on AWS infrastructure.
Your own subdomain
Portals live at your-studio.portaltable.com, branded with your name, logo and colour — not ours.
Questions, answered.
